About the Socialist Equality Party
The Socialist Equality Party (US) is in political solidarity with the International Committee of the Fourth International. The ICFI is the leadership of the world socialist movement, the Fourth International, founded by Leon Trotsky in 1938. The ICFI publishes the World Socialist Web Site.
In all countries the sections of the International Committee fight to unite the world working class in a common struggle for social equality.

The Socialist Equality Party Statement of Principles was adopted by the Founding Congress of the SEP (US), held August 3-9, 2008 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. If you agree with the principles, contact us to join the SEP.

The Historical Foundations of the SEP
The Socialist Equality Party (US) is also publishing its historical document, The Historical and International Foundations of the Socialist Equality Party. The document was discussed extensively and adopted unanimously at the Founding Congress of the SEP, held August 3-9, 2008. Workers interested in the SEP are urged to review the history of our movement.
